Step 01

Let's get started.

Before we begin creating, let's make sure we're on the same page. Please review the project expectations below, then tell me a little about you and your business.

What a Basic Brand Kit Includes
Brand strategy + consultation
Concept development + moodboard
Logo suite: primary, secondary + icon
Color palette + typography system
Brand guidelines document
Two rounds of revisions
Organized files for asset export

Starting at $650

The Process

Consultation → Concept + Moodboard → Design → Revision Round 1 → Revision Round 2 → Final Approval → Delivery

Two rounds of revisions are included in the base package. A revision round consists of one consolidated set of client feedback and the resulting design updates.

Additional revisions, continued changes, or new creative directions requested after the included rounds will be billed at the current hourly rate of $55/hour.

Once a stage of the project has been approved, changes to previously approved work may be considered additional design work and billed accordingly.

Designer Corrections

Any errors, omissions, or corrections needed as a result of designer error will be corrected at no additional cost and will not count toward the client's included revision rounds.

Approvals + Timeline

Approval is required before moving forward to each major stage of the project. All approvals must be provided in writing through email, text message, or another agreed-upon written form.

Project timelines are dependent on timely communication, feedback, and approvals from both parties. Delays in receiving feedback, content, or approvals may shift the project timeline.

Feedback should be consolidated and provided in one response per revision round whenever possible.

Client-Provided Materials

The client is responsible for providing accurate text, business information, images, logos, and other materials needed for the project. Changes to client-provided content after design work has begun may affect the project scope, timeline, or cost.

Final Files + Delivery

Upon final approval, all approved assets shown in the final draft will be exported and organized for asset delivery. A brand guidelines document outlining the approved colors, typography, and visual standards is included.

Working files and source files are not included unless specifically agreed upon.

Canva Option

If you primarily create content in Canva, we can discuss building your brand kit and applicable brand assets directly in Canva so you can seamlessly use your new identity in your own content. Canva templates or editable assets may be created upon request and may be subject to an additional fee depending on scope.

Additional Assets

Any additional items or assets requested outside of the base brand kit may be added for an additional fee. Additional work will be discussed and approved before it begins.

Third-Party Assets

Fonts, photography, illustrations, templates, mockups, or other third-party assets requiring separate licensing or purchase are not included unless specifically stated. Any ongoing licenses required for use of these assets are the client's responsibility.

Payment + Deposit

Project pricing and payment schedules are outlined in the applicable proposal or invoice. After this onboarding form is submitted, the client will receive a separate email containing the project deposit payment information.

The project officially begins once the signed agreement, completed onboarding, and required deposit have been received.

Additional work outside of the agreed-upon scope will not begin until the additional fee or scope has been approved.

Project Inactivity + Expiration

Projects that become inactive due to delayed client feedback, content, approvals, or other client-side delays may be paused and rescheduled based on current availability.

If a project remains inactive for an extended period, West Wind Studio reserves the right to consider the project closed and require a new project schedule or updated scope before resuming work.

Any payments already made toward completed work remain non-refundable.

Now for the fun part. These questions help me understand your visual instincts and give us a strong starting point for the creative direction.
